Acceptance of Terms

  • Restrictions: You may not modify, distribute, reproduce, or create derivative works based on the App. Unauthorized use may result in the termination of your account and legal action.

User Accounts

  • Account Creation: Certain features of the App may require you to create a user account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password. You are liable for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Account Termination: GeoTrip reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason.

Privacy

  • Privacy Policy: Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and share your information. You can review our Privacy Policy here.
  • Consent to Data Practices: By using the App, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Location and Tracking Services

  • Content Submission: You may have the opportunity to submit content, including but not limited to GeoPhotos, trip details, and comments ("User Content").
  • Location Data Accuracy:While we strive to provide accurate location data, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of location information. You acknowledge that your use of location-based features is at your own risk.
  • Consent to Location Data Use:By using location-based features, you consent to the collection and use of your location data as described in our Privacy Policy.

User-Generated Content

  • Location-Based Features: The App includes features that involve tracking and location services. These features may use GPS, Wi-Fi, or mobile network location information to determine your device's approximate location.
  • User Content License:By submitting User Content, you grant GeoTrip a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display the User Content in connection with the App.
  • User Content Ownership:You retain ownership of your User Content. [Your App Name] does not claim any ownership rights in your User Content.

Account Deletion

You have the option to delete your account within the App. By choosing to delete your account, you understand and agree that:

  • All Data Deleted: All data associated with your account, including but not limited to trip details, GeoPhotos, and personal information, will be permanently deleted from our servers.
  • Irreversible Process: Account deletion is an irreversible process, and you will not be able to recover any data once the deletion is complete.
  • Termination of Services: You will no longer have access to the services and features provided by GeoTrip after the account deletion.

    • Confirmatory Action

    To initiate the account deletion process, you may be required to confirm your intent through a confirmatory action within the App. This step is designed to prevent accidental or unauthorized account deletions.

    Timing of Deletion

    The account deletion process may take a reasonable amount of time to complete. During this period, your data will not be accessible, but it may still exist in our backup systems. However, it will be permanently deleted in due course.

Termination

  • Termination Rights: GeoTrip reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice.
  • Consequences of Termination: Termination may result in the loss of data associated with your account. Provisions of these Terms that, by their nature, should survive termination will survive.

Changes to Terms

  • Modification: GeoTrip may modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting
  • Notification of Changes: We may provide notification of significant changes. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
